This Website has been dedicated to all of the hikers in the Phoenix Valley of the Sun. We have placed many hike reports onto the Website in hopes to encourage hiking and hope to add many more. All input is welcome and many hikes reports, and photographs will be added to the Website over the upcoming years. All the necessary links on this Website will appear in the panel on the left side of your screen. If you would like to submit a hike report on one of your hikes, please feel free to send it to larry@live2hike.org. Your report and photographs will then be checked and added to the collection. Hiker submitted photographs are also welcome. Please include the photographers name and where the photograph was taken. This way we can give everyone all the information they desire about the photograph. The resolution of some photographs may be reduced to save Web space.

There is also available on the Website a free Guide to Day hiking. This is a basic training manual to enable less experienced hikers to have a safer, more enjoyable hike. This manual is in Adobe Acrobat format and can be downloaded at the appropriate page.

A published list of upcoming hikes, either in the area or other areas will be posted on the Website in order for hikers to have the option to join a group on a hike. On previous hikes we have had from 2 to 16 hikers attend. It must be remembered though that many hikes are of a difficult nature and some require prior reservations therefore there may be a nominal fee to attend the hike.

Another section of the Website will be a Hikers List where hikers can sign up in order to contact other hikers. Only their name, the normal trail they hike and the statement "Click here to send e-mail will appear. A bulk mailing list will also be made up from the Hikers List in order to notify interested hikers of upcoming hikes. All bulk e-mails will be sent bcc so your e-mail address will not appear.

If you notice some similarity between this Website and the Website squawpeakhiker.org it is because I designed both Websites. Squawpeakhiker.org has been re-established in my name and has a direct link to this Website.
