| Approach from SR 87 (Beeline Hwy) Take Shea east as far as you can. Turn north on SR 87 and proceed about 10 miles to Four Peaks Road (Forest Road 143) Turn right on the dirt road and continue up about 17 miles. Turn right on Pigeon Springs Road (see map above) and head for the Lone Pine Trailhead. Continue to the end and park. Where a 4WD vehicle is desired, almost any high profile vehicle will work. I would not recommend driving this road in inclement weather conditions!
