| Various | Black
Mountain in Cave Creek. These will be on February 19th, March 19th and
April 9th. They each start at 8AM. The hike is tough but we'll be going at
a slower pace with plenty of stops to make sure everyone gets to the top.
Expect 2 - 2 1/2 hours. And, folks do have to pre-register at
www.dflt.org.
But it is free! Limit 8 hikers. |

| March 06, 2010 | The
Archaelogical Society is doing several hikes for charity up in the Spur
Cross area. The hikes are a great opportunity to see some of the indian runes
up in this area with trained guides. I've attached the flyer that tells
about the hikes. These will be more informational hikes vs. fitness hikes
although the last one on the flyer really has some challenges. I'm planning
on doing that one just for the opportunity to see the Elephant Mountain
Fortress up close. On the charity hikes, you do have to pre-register and there is a cost. They are limiting it to about 20 people per hike.
